Xbox Series X|S consoles do not have a built‑in file‑verification feature for individual games. If FBC: Firebreak crashes, fails to load, or behaves unexpectedly, uninstalling and reinstalling the game is the recommended way to replace any corrupted data.

Steps to repair on Xbox Series X|S

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide and navigate to My games & apps → See all → Games.

  2. Highlight FBC: Firebreak, press the Menu button (☰) and select Uninstall → Uninstall all.

  3. After uninstalling, restart your console by pressing and holding the Xbox button and choosing Restart console.

  4. Once the console restarts, reinstall the game: go back to My games & apps, choose Full library → Owned games, select FBC: Firebreak, and click Install all.

Important Notes

  • Ensure you have enough free storage on your internal SSD; consider moving other games to external storage before reinstalling.

  • If issues continue after reinstalling, perform a full power cycle: hold the console’s power button for 10 seconds to shut it down, unplug the power cord for a minute, then reconnect and restart the console.
