Encountered a crash, performance hiccup, or something just doesn’t feel Bureau-approved in FBC: Firebreak? Your detailed bug reports play a vital role in helping our dev and QA teams investigate and patch issues quickly.

This guide will walk you through submitting a complete and actionable bug report so we can get you back into the field ASAP.

Step 1: Speak to the FBC: Firebreak Support Bot

To report any bug, crash, or technical issue, you’ll need to interact with the FBC: Firebreak Support Bot.

You can usually access the bot via the main menu of our FBC Firebreak Helpshift Portal

Look for the chat icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. It resembles a speech bubble 💬 Click it to start your conversation with the bot.

Then select "Bug""Bug Reports" or "Game Froze/Crash" to begin your guided reporting flow.

The bot will walk you through all the required information and collect the right data to get your issue routed to our QA and dev teams as quickly as possible.

Step 2: Fill Out All Key Information

Required Fields:

  • Email Address
    So we can follow up if more details are needed.

  • Subject
    A clear, summary of the issue.
    Example: “Crash during mission loading – PS5”

  • User ID
    Found in the top-right corner of your screen while in the Firebreak UI.
    (This helps us track your session data for logs.)

  • Preferred Language
    The language you're using in-game for localized support.

  • Platform
    Select where the issue occurred:
    PC (Steam or Epic), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Request Type
    Choose: Bug or Crash

Description Field – The Most Important Part

This is where context turns into clarity. Please include:

  • What happened?
    Describe the unexpected behavior or error.

  • Where did it happen?
    Mention the in-game mission, area, or menu screen.

  • Steps to reproduce (if known):
    What actions consistently lead to the bug?

  • Additional context:
    Equipment loadout, recent unlocks, current mission, party size, etc.

Tip: The more precise and detailed your description, the faster our team can replicate and resolve the issue.

Step 3: Attach Supporting Files (Highly Recommended)

These optional attachments greatly improve troubleshooting speed:

Files under 25MB can be attached directly in the form. For larger items, you’ll receive upload instructions in your confirmation email.
