Optimize your kit. Synchronize your team. Survive the anomaly.
What is a Crisis Kit?
A Crisis Kit is your personal field-grade support suite composed of a Tool, a Device, and a Parautility Augment. Together, they define your frontline role, your team impact, and your paranatural versatility.
Each Crisis Kit type caters to distinct operational behaviors:
Fix Kit – Focused on repairs, defensive suppression, and close-range enemy control.
Jump Kit – Geared toward mobility, crowd disruption, and electrical assaults.
Splash Kit – Designed for area control, environmental interaction, and elemental damage synergy.
Crisis Kit Types & Components
Fix Kit
Role: Mechanical Support / Tank Disruptor
Ideal For: Teams needing sustainability, zone lockdown, or consistent utility pressure.
Tool: Wrench
A hefty, industrial-grade wrench. Primarily used for repairing machinery and staggering enemies with strong melee swings. High knockback potential.
Device: Swivel Cannon
Deployable, target-locking cannon. Requires Wrench assembly. Auto-acquires enemies and launches high-impact projectiles. Best used for sustained area suppression.
Parautility Augment: AI16 “PIGGY BANK”
Breaks apart on contact, releasing damaging coin and porcelain shrapnel. These particles arc back to the Wrench after detonation, creating a circular damage field and automatic reload loop.
Jump Kit
Role: Shock Assault / Crowd Distraction
Ideal For: Hit-and-run tactics, enemy clustering, mobility-based kits.
Tool: Electro-Kinetic Charge Impactor
Channels electric discharge into a high-impact melee strike. Stuns enemies and interacts with chargeable paranatural devices.
Device: Boom Box
Plays irresistible tunes that draw enemy aggro. Once overcharged by incoming damage, it detonates, clearing clusters. Must be powered with the Impactor.
Parautility Augment: AI9 “GARDEN GNOME”
A mobile storm generator. Once launched, it pursues the nearest entity, dealing sustained elemental damage in a roaming radius. Great for softening choke points.
Splash Kit
Role: Area Denial / Elemental Amplifier / Reactive Support
Ideal For: Crowd control, environmental manipulation, adaptive healing or AoE DPS.
Tool: Crank-Operated Fluidic Ejector
Industrial hydro cannon that ejects high-density water globs. Excellent for fire suppression, status layering (Wet), and environmental interaction. Becomes a vector for versatile support or area DPS when paired with specific augmentations.
Device: Humidifier
- A wide-area mist dispenser that activates once charged by the Ejector.
Primary Function: Sprays a hydrating mist that applies Wet to enemies and extinguishes flames across large zones.
Elemental Synergy:
• If hit with a standard water globule from the Ejector, the Humidifier transforms into a mobile healing station, emitting regenerative mist that heals nearby allies over time.
• If hit with a Burning Globule via AI44 “TEAPOT” augment the Humidifier erupts violently, spraying fire in multiple directions like a miniature volcano, dealing persistent AoE damage and igniting all nearby enemies.Strategic for zone control, choke-point denial, or hybrid support-DPS roles.
Parautility Augment: AI44 “TEAPOT”
Infuses Ejector shots with paranatural heat, superheating water globules into incendiary projectiles. Upon contact, these ignite enemies and alter interactive devices like the Humidifier into offensive tools. Synergizes best with environmental hazards and fire-based missions.
Firearm Loadouts
Tip: Choose based on your engagement range and enemy type.
Bolt-Action Rifle | Precision / Long | Armor-piercing, high stagger; one-shot eliminations for sharpshooters. |
Revolver | Precision / Mid | High damage and mobility; perfect for close-quarters sniping. |
Machine Gun | Sustained / Mid | Large mag, suppressive fire; effective against waves and staggerable enemies. |
Double-Barrel Shotgun | Close Burst | Devastating burst damage; high stagger, great for clearing small zones. |
Pump-Action Shotgun | Versatile / Mid | Larger clip size; solid balance of range and armor shred. |
Submachine Gun | Agile / Mid | Fast reload, good clip size, benefits from burst-fire discipline. |
Grenades & Tactical Options
Gunpowder Grenade | High-damage explosive. Good for clearing groups or initiating fights. |
Epoxy Grenade | Sticky, armor-shredding payload. Ideal for high-armor targets or boss phases. |
Shock Grenade | AoE pulse that applies Shock. Synergizes well with Wet status or Jump Kit. |
Loadout Synergies & Strategy
Fix Kit Synergies
Pair Wrench + Machine Gun + Shock Grenade for turret-style defense.
Use PIGGY BANK to deal chip damage while staying in proximity to repairs.
Best paired with Side Eye or Determination Perks for revive-heavy missions.
Jump Kit Synergies
Use Impactor + SMG + Boom Box to jump in, distract, and zip out.
Combine with Jackrabbit and Shake It Off for airborne damage resilience.
GARDEN GNOME is highly effective during Hiss encounters.
Splash Kit Synergies
Equip Ejector + Pump-Action Shotgun + Teapot to maximize status layering.
Use Wet Rounds + Shock Grenade to trigger elemental combos.
Excellent for Paper Chase or Hot Fix where fire management is critical.
Firebreaker Team Optimization
Tool-Tethered Devices: Devices require interaction from their respective Tools to activate. Time your rotations.
Parautility Augment Timing: Augments often have cooldowns or persistent effects. Deploy smartly for maximum uptime.
Grenade Discipline: Every grenade choice affects your utility in a fight. Communicate team builds to avoid overlap.
Mastering your Crisis Kit is about understanding synergy, adapting to the environment, and complementing your team composition. Encourage your crew to diversify kit types for maximum mission adaptability. And remember support doesn’t just mean healing it means keeping the mission alive.
