Is FBC: Firebreak free-to-play?
No. It’s a paid title purchase is required to play.

No. It is a PvE-only co-op experience.

Yes, you can matchmake solo.
There are no AI companions.
Jobs scale based on player count, so solo play is possible but challenging.

Does FBC: Firebreak continue the story of Control?
It’s not a direct sequel.
FBC: Firebreak is a spin-off set in the Control universe, centered on a new team: the Firebreak Initiative.
Who do I play as?
You are a Firebreaker, a badass volunteer responder operating in the strange reality of the Oldest House.
Why do characters look like post-apocalyptic scavengers?
The Oldest House has been sealed for six years. Firebreakers get the scraps—but they turn those scraps into symbols of resilience, innovation, and style.
