Reinstalling the game ensures you have a fresh installation, which can resolve issues like corrupted files, missing updates, or installation errors.
Use this procedure if the game was uninstalled, your hard drive was replaced, or you’re reinstalling after freeing up storage space.
From the PS4 Home Screen, sign in to your account and go to Library.
Under Purchased, find CONTROL Ultimate Edition.
Select Download (if the game is not currently installed) or Install if it appears in your Library but not on your console.
Wait for the download and installation to complete.
Once installed, launch the game from the main menu.
Your saved data is not deleted when uninstalling a game.
Local Saves: These remain stored on your console unless manually deleted.
Cloud Saves: If you have PlayStation Plus, your progress is safely backed up online and will automatically sync after reinstalling.

- Describe your issue. Select Bug Reports, Game Froze/Crash, or the most relevant option, and answer the bot’s questions. Be sure to include your email address, platform (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, etc.), User ID, screenshot/video, and a clear description of what went wrong.
- Provide additional details. Player Support may ask you for additional files or info that may help with your issue, such as Error Code/Message, DxDiag, or MSInfo.
