Checking your PS4’s storage space helps ensure smooth performance and prevents installation or update errors for CONTROL Ultimate Edition.
1. Open Settings: From the main menu, go to Settings (the toolbox icon).
2. Select Storage: Choose Storage to view available space on your PS4’s system storage or connected extended storage.
3. Review Available Space: Check how much free space you have. If your storage is nearly full, you may need to delete unused games, applications, or captures.
4. Manage Game Data
To delete specific games or data:
- Highlight System Storage (or Extended Storage, if applicable).
- Select Applications.
- Highlight CONTROL Ultimate Edition.
- Press the Options button and choose Delete, then confirm.
5. Reinstall or Restore Later: You can reinstall CONTROL Ultimate Edition anytime from your Library or the PlayStation Store.
Deleting a game does not remove your saved data. Your saves remain stored locally or in Online Storage (if you have PlayStation Plus).
“Not Enough Space” Errors
If you still see storage-related errors after deleting games or applications, try the following:
Restart your console to clear temporary system data.
Recheck storage space under Settings > Storage.
If the issue continues, try rebuilding the database in Safe Mode. For detailed steps, visit the official PlayStation Storage Management Support Page.
