Monitoring and managing your storage helps ensure smooth performance of CONTROL Ultimate Edition and prevents installation or update issues.
Steps
Open the Guide
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.Go to Storage Management
Navigate to Profile & system → Settings → System → Storage.View Used and Free Space
Review the percentage of used and available storage.Manage or Delete Game Data
Highlight My games & apps → See all.
Highlight CONTROL Ultimate Edition.
Press the Menu button and select Manage game & add-ons.
Choose Uninstall all or Manage installation to remove specific components.
Free Up Space
If needed, uninstall older titles or delete large captures under Settings → Preferences → Capture & share → Manage captures.Reinstall CONTROL Ultimate Edition
Once space is available, reinstall the game from your Library or Microsoft Store.
Troubleshooting Notes
If you still see “Not enough space” errors:
- Restart your console to refresh system data.
- Check for system updates under Settings → System → Updates.
- If issues persist, move large games to an external drive or rebuild your console database using the power cycle method.
- If you've followed all steps and still encounter storage or installation issues, please contact Xbox Support or the store where you purchased the game.
Account or billing-related issues are handled directly by Microsoft or the retailer of purchase.

- Open the Remedy Help Center. Go to remedy.helpshift.com and click the chat bubble in the lower‑right corner to start a ticket.
- Describe your issue. Select Bug Reports, Game Froze/Crash, or the most relevant option, and answer the bot’s questions. Be sure to include your email address, platform (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, etc.), User ID, screenshot/video, and a clear description of what went wrong.
- Provide additional details. Player Support may ask you for additional files or info that may help with your issue, such as Error Code/Message, DxDiag, or MSInfo.
