Capturing and sharing gameplay moments lets you showcase your achievements or report issues with visual clarity. Use this guide if you want to upload a clip for friends, post a screenshot of a bug, or preserve a memorable moment in CONTROL Ultimate Edition.

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

  2. Navigate to Capture & share → Recent captures.

  3. To take a screenshot: Press Y or choose Capture screenshot.

  4. To record a video clip: Press X (or use the Start recording option) and stop when ready.

  5. After capture, open the guide again → Capture & share → Recent captures → Select media → Share. You can upload to your activity feed, messages, or social media.

(Optional) To copy to a USB drive: Select the capture → Menu → Copy to USB storage device.

Troubleshooting Notes

If your clip or screenshot doesn’t appear in Recent captures:

  • Ensure you're signed in to your Xbox profile and connected to Xbox Live.
  • Check Settings → Preferences → Capture & share, then verify that automatic uploads are enabled.
  • If file size is large, use USB export and share manually.

  1. Open the Remedy Help Center. Go to remedy.helpshift.com and click the chat bubble in the lower‑right corner to start a ticket.

  2. Describe your issue. Select Bug Reports, Game Froze/Crash, or the most relevant option, and answer the bot’s questions. Be sure to include your email address, platform (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, etc.), User ID, screenshot/video, and a clear description of what went wrong.

  3. Provide additional details. Player Support may ask you for additional files or info that may help with your issue, such as Error Code/Message, DxDiag, or MSInfo.
