Capturing and sharing your gameplay lets you document your journey through the Bureau and showcase key moments from CONTROL Ultimate Edition.
Capture Screenshots
During Gameplay, Press the Capture Button.
The Capture Button is located on the left Joy-Con or on the Pro Controller.Screenshot Saved Confirmation.
A quick animation and sound confirm that the screenshot has been successfully saved.
Record Video Clips
Hold the Capture Button.
Press and hold the Capture Button for up to 30 seconds to save recent gameplay footage.Video Availability.
Some games or specific scenes may not support video capture due to publisher restrictions.
View Captured Media
Go to the HOME Menu.
Select the Album icon to view all screenshots and videos.Filter by Game.
You can sort your captures by title, date, or media type.Select to View or Edit.
Press A to view, or + / – for options like delete or copy.
Share Screenshots or Videos
Open the Album.
Select the capture you want to share.Press A → Post.
Choose between sharing to Twitter (X) or Facebook.Confirm and Post.
Enter your caption or tags and press Post to share directly from your console.
Managing Storage for Captures
Screenshots and clips are saved in System Memory or on a microSD card (if inserted).
To free space:
Go to System Settings → Data Management → Manage Screenshots and Videos.
Delete or move files to your microSD card.
Note on Cloud Version Gameplay
Capturing screenshots and short clips works normally in CONTROL Ultimate Edition since images are rendered locally. However, image quality may vary slightly based on your streaming connection.

- Open the Remedy Help Center. Go to remedy.helpshift.com and click the chat bubble in the lower‑right corner to start a ticket.
- Describe your issue. Select Bug Reports, Game Froze/Crash, or the most relevant option, and answer the bot’s questions. Be sure to include your email address, platform (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, etc.), User ID, screenshot/video, and a clear description of what went wrong.
- Provide additional details. Player Support may ask you for additional files or info that may help with your issue, such as Error Code/Message, DxDiag, or MSInfo.
