Control: Ultimate Edition on Amazon Luna streams directly from Amazon’s servers, a fast, stable network connection is required for optimal performance. Poor bandwidth or high latency can cause stuttering, lag, or disconnections during gameplay.
Run Amazon’s Built-In Connection Test
Go to luna.amazon.com and sign in with your Amazon account.
Click your profile icon → Settings → Connection Test.
Wait for the test to complete — results display your Download Speed, Upload Speed, and Network Stability.
Review the results:
Minimum Requirement: 10 Mbps download
Recommended for 1080p: 20 Mbps or higher
Recommended for 4K: 35 Mbps or higher
Latency Goal: Less than 60 ms for best responsiveness
Use a Third-Party Speed Test
If you’re not in the Luna app yet:
Visit fast.com or speedtest.net.
Wait for the download test to complete automatically.
Click “Show More Info” to view Upload Speed and Latency.
Compare with Luna’s requirements above.
Optimize Your Network
To improve connection stability and reduce input delay:
Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi instead of 2.4 GHz.
Move your router closer to your streaming device (within 3–5 meters).
Pause other downloads, video streams, or connected devices using bandwidth.
If possible, use a wired Ethernet connection.
Avoid VPNs, firewalls, or proxy networks that can throttle cloud traffic.
Troubleshooting Notes
If your speeds meet requirements but lag persists:
- Restart your router and modem.
- Sign out and back into Luna.
- Try another supported browser (Chrome, Edge, or Safari).
- Run the connection test again after each adjustment.
