CONTROL Ultimate Edition on Amazon Luna is a single-player experience. However, Amazon Luna includes platform-wide audio, mic, and party settings that can affect gameplay sound, streaming output, and controller-based audio devices.

Check System Volume and Output Device

  1. Ensure your TV, monitor, or speakers are powered on and unmuted.

  2. Adjust system volume on your device (not just in Luna).

  3. On PC or Mac, verify your default output device:

    • Windows: Sound Settings → Output → Choose your output device

    • Mac: System Settings → Sound → Output → Select device

  4. If you’re using a controller headset (Luna or Xbox controller), make sure your headset is fully plugged into the 3.5mm jack or correctly paired via Bluetooth.

Adjust Luna Audio Settings

  1. While in-game, press the Luna menu button (≡) on your controller or keyboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Audio.

  3. Confirm that:

    • Game Volume is not muted.

    • Chat Volume is adjusted (if using a Luna party).

    • Microphone permissions are enabled (if using browser).

Note: Luna remembers your last-used audio settings per device, so if you move between Fire TV and PC, you may need to recheck them.

Verify Microphone Permissions (For Browser Players)

If using Chrome or Edge:

  1. Click the lock icon in the browser’s address bar while on luna.amazon.com.

  2. Under “Permissions,” ensure Microphone → Allow.

  3. Refresh the page after making changes.

Fire TV Audio & Mic Settings

  1. On your Fire TV remote, hold Home → Settings.

  2. Go to Display & Sound → Audio → Surround Sound.

  3. Set it to Best Available or Stereo.

  4. If using a Bluetooth headset, reconnect it through
Settings → Controllers & Bluetooth Devices → Other Bluetooth Devices.

Note: If audio cuts out intermittently, restart the Fire TV device to refresh its HDMI and Bluetooth routing.

Troubleshooting

If the game plays silently:

  • Unplug and replug your HDMI cable (forces re-sync).

  • Restart the Luna app or browser tab.

  • Make sure your Luna Controller isn’t connected to another device.

  • On PC: disable all but one active audio output device (helps Windows detect the correct one).

Reset Audio Settings

  1. Open the Luna menu (≡) → Settings → Audio.

  2. Select Restore Default Audio Settings.

  3. Confirm and relaunch CONTROL Ultimate Edition.

If you continue experiencing no sound or microphone detection issues after following these steps, contact Amazon Luna Support for assistance.
