CONTROL Ultimate Edition on Amazon Luna uses cloud saves managed automatically through Amazon’s servers. Your progress is linked to your Amazon account, not to your device.

This means you can start playing on one device, like a Fire TV, and continue exactly where you left off on your PC or browser.

Understand How Luna Cloud Saves Work

  • Luna automatically stores your save data on Amazon’s cloud servers every time you quit a session.

  • The saves are tied to your Amazon login credentials.

  • As long as you sign in with the same Amazon account, your progress remains synced across devices.

1. Confirm You’re Signed Into the Correct Account

  1. Open luna.amazon.com or the Luna app.

  2. Click your profile icon (top-right).

  3. Verify the account email matches the one you used to play previously.

  4. If you have multiple Amazon profiles:

    • Select Switch Profile and log in to the correct one.

Note: Progress is unique to each Amazon account, even if multiple profiles exist under the same household.

2. Check Save Sync on Multiple Devices

If you move between devices (for example, from Fire TV to PC):

  1. On your first device, quit CONTROL Ultimate Edition normally, don’t force-close Luna.

  2. Wait at least 15 seconds before exiting Luna to ensure your progress syncs.

  3. On your second device, open Luna and start CONTROL Ultimate Edition.

  4. Your last checkpoint should load automatically.

If it doesn’t:

  • Verify both devices use the same Amazon account.

  • Ensure both are connected to the internet and Luna isn’t in offline recovery mode.

3. Troubleshooting Missing or Corrupted Saves

If your progress doesn’t appear or seems lost:

  1. Restart the Luna app or browser.

  2. Sign out, then sign back in with the correct account.

  3. Reboot your device and recheck your Luna Library.

  4. If the issue persists, contact Amazon Luna Support.

Important: Luna handles cloud saves automatically. There is no manual export, import, or deletion option for players.

Account Linking Clarification

CONTROL Ultimate Edition does not require separate logins (such as Epic Games or 505 accounts) when played on Luna.

All progress and entitlement data are stored directly within the Luna ecosystem under your Amazon account credentials.

Switching Amazon Accounts

If you have multiple Amazon accounts or share a device:

  1. Open Settings → Account → Switch User on the Luna app or browser.

  2. Sign in using the account where CONTROL Ultimate Edition was purchased or redeemed.

  3. Restart the Luna app or refresh your browser tab before launching the game again.

If your saved progress does not sync or disappears despite using the same account, contact Amazon Luna Support for assistance.

  • Note: Save management and account access issues are handled by Amazon.
