CONTROL Ultimate Edition on Amazon Luna runs entirely in the cloud. Unlike local console or PC versions, screenshots and clips are captured on your device, not within Luna’s cloud servers.

You can still save and share gameplay moments using your device’s capture tools (Fire TV, PC, or browser extensions).

Capturing on PC or Browser

If you’re playing via  luna.amazon.com:

Screenshots:

  • Press Print Screen (PrtScn) or Alt + PrtScn to capture your entire screen or active window.

  • Paste it into an image editor (like Paint or Photoshop) and save.

  • For cropped captures, use Windows + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool.

Video Clips:

  • Use the built-in Windows Game Bar:

    1. Press Windows + G during gameplay.

    2. Click Record or press Windows + Alt + R.

    3. Find your clips in Videos → Captures.

Capturing on Fire TV

Screenshots:

  • Press and hold Play/Pause + Volume Down on your Fire TV remote.

  • The screen briefly flashes, confirming the capture.

Video Clips (limited):

  • Fire TV does not have native video capture for Luna gameplay.

  • You can record via external devices (like Elgato or OBS using HDMI passthrough).

Capturing on macOS

Screenshots:

  • Press Command + Shift + 4 and drag to capture your selected area.

  • Images save automatically to your desktop.

Video Clips:

  • Open QuickTime Player → File → New Screen Recording.

  • Select Record Entire Screen or a portion.

  • Start Luna gameplay and press Record.

Sharing Your Captures

Once saved, you can share your screenshots or clips to:

  • Social Media: Upload to X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, or Discord.

  • Cloud Storage: Save to Amazon Photos, Google Drive, or OneDrive.

  • External Devices: Copy via USB drive or transfer through AirDrop (for Mac).

Capture Notes for Best Results

  • Close unnecessary browser tabs or background apps to ensure smoother video capture.

  • Record at 1080p for balance between file size and quality.

  • If you experience lag during recording, lower Luna’s Streaming Quality (Settings → Streaming Quality → Balanced).

  • Keep your cursor outside the Luna overlay when taking screenshots for clean images.

If screenshots or clips fail to save correctly, contact Amazon Luna Support for assistance.
