If you purchased CONTROL Ultimate Edition from an authorized GOG partner or retailer, you can redeem your product code through the GOG website or GOG Galaxy client. Once redeemed, the game will appear in your GOG Library, ready for installation.

Redeem via GOG Website

  1. Go to GOG.com/redeem.

  2. Sign in with your GOG account.

  3. Enter your product code exactly as provided (e.g.,ABCD-1234-EFGH-5678).

  4. Click Continue.

  5. Review the product name and confirm by selecting Redeem Game.

Once complete, CONTROL Ultimate Edition will appear in your GOG Library under Owned Games.

Redeem via GOG Galaxy Client

You can also redeem your key through the GOG Galaxy client:

  1. Launch GOG Galaxy and sign in.

  2. Click the Settings (⚙️) in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Add Games & Friends → Redeem GOG Code.

  4. Enter your product code and click Continue.

  5. The game will automatically appear in your GOG Library once redeemed.

Important Notes

  • GOG keys are account-locked after redemption, they cannot be transferred or reused.

  • If your code shows as invalid, double-check for typos or extra spaces.

  • Only GOG-specific keys can be redeemed on GOG.com.

    • Steam or Epic codes will not work.

  • Ensure you are signed in to the correct account before redeeming, once claimed, ownership cannot be moved.

Troubleshooting

If the code doesn’t work or you receive an error:

  • Recheck that the key was issued for GOG, not another platform.

  • Try redeeming on both the GOG website and GOG Galaxy client.

  • If it still fails, contact  GOG Support and provide:

    • The product key

    • A screenshot of the error message

    • Your GOG account email

  1. Open the Remedy Help Center. Go to remedy.helpshift.com and click the chat bubble in the lower‑right corner to start a ticket.

  2. Describe your issue. Select Bug Reports, Game Froze/Crash, or the most relevant option, and answer the bot’s questions. Be sure to include your email address, platform (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, etc.), User ID, screenshot/video, and a clear description of what went wrong.

  3. Provide additional details. Player Support may ask you for additional files or info that may help with your issue, such as Error Code/Message, DxDiag, or MSInfo.
