The Bureau’s systems have been upgraded. v1.30 delivers new graphical enhancements, improved performance options, and a previously console-exclusive mission, plus three classic outfits now available to all players.
Players can look forward to DLSS 4, HDR, an expanded Ultra Ray Tracing preset, and widescreen improvements up to 48:9 ultrawide. Whether you’re exploring the shifting halls of the Oldest House or examining the Astral Plane, the visual fidelity and performance stability have never been sharper.
OUTFITS
The following outfits are now available to all players.
You can access and equip them from the Control Point in the Central Executive Sector.

MISSIONS
All players now receive the mission Dr. Yoshimi Tokui’s Guided Imagery Experience, featuring voiceover by Hideo Kojima.
You can access the mission by picking up the Dr. Tokui Tapes collectible in the Extrasensory Lab within the Research Sector.
(This mission was previously exclusive to the PlayStation 4 Digital Deluxe version of Control.)

Added Super Sampling support — allows rendering above your display resolution.
Added a new High Quality Post Process setting for better bloom, Hiss effects, and depth of field.
Added a new Anisotropic Filtering (High Quality) setting.
Added Ultrawide monitor support for up to 48:9 aspect ratio.
Added FOV scaling for the gameplay camera.
Updated SDR to 10-bit color (reduces visible color banding).
Improved graphics adapter detection with smarter DX11/DX12 auto-selection.
Improved Remedy’s in-house TAA solution, reducing ghosting and enhancing texture clarity.
Fixed aspect ratio and scaling issues on ultrawide displays.
Enhanced resolution selection menus for accurate monitor detection.
Added rendering resolution support beyond 4K.
Implemented texture streaming and ray tracing stability fixes.
DLSS SUPPORT
Added DLSS support for arbitrary resolutions.
Added DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) support.
Updated DLSS to version 4 for higher temporal stability.
Reintroduced film grain to DLSS SR.
Fixed shadow resolution issues when DLSS is enabled.
Added resolution-dependent mipmap bias for DLSS, improving texture detail (especially when using DLSS Performance mode).
GENERAL
Updated audio in cinematics and end credits to remove unintended channel mixing.

- Describe your issue. Select Bug Reports, Game Froze/Crash, or the most relevant option, and answer the bot’s questions. Be sure to include your email address, platform (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, etc.), User ID, screenshot/video, and a clear description of what went wrong.
- Provide additional details. Player Support may ask you for additional files or info that may help with your issue, such as Error Code/Message, DxDiag, or MSInfo.
