Experiencing crashes, graphical glitches, or unexplained performance issues in FBC: Firebreak? Our team may request a DXDIAG report to quickly assess your system’s hardware and driver details. This diagnostic file gives us a real-time snapshot of your PC’s DirectX configuration, essential for identifying compatibility issues or outdated drivers.

What Is a DXDIAG Report?

DXDIAG (DirectX Diagnostic Tool) gathers system-level information, including:

  • CPU and GPU specs

  • Driver versions (especially graphics/audio)

  • Operating system version

  • DirectX runtime environment

  • Memory and display settings

This data helps our team quickly spot hardware mismatches or outdated drivers that may be affecting your gameplay experience.

 How to Create Your DXDIAG File

  1. PressWindows Key + R to open the Run dialog.

  2. Typedxdiag and hit Enter.

  3. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will open.

  4. Let the progress bar finish scanning.

  5. Click Save All Information in the bottom-right.

  6. Save the file asdxdiag.txt to a location you’ll remember (Desktop is ideal).

Is My DXDIAG File Secure?

Yes. DXDIAG does not include personal documents, passwords, or browsing data. It only contains hardware/software specifications and is used exclusively for technical support purposes. Your data will be handled according to GDPR and privacy standards.

How to Send It to Support

When you submit a support request for FBC: Firebreak via the  FBC: Firebreak Support, upload thedxdiag.txt file in the attachment section.

If you’ve already opened a ticket, you can reply to our email with the DXDIAG file attached.

Speed Up Resolution Time

For the fastest diagnosis, please also include:

  • Your MSINFO file (see: How to Generate MSINFO)

  • A short description of the bug or crash

  • Steps to reproduce it

  • Crash logs or screenshots (if available)
