 What Is an MSINFO File?

MSINFO32 (Microsoft System Information) is a built-in Windows tool that creates a full snapshot of your system’s specifications, running processes, services, and drivers. This file helps us diagnose compatibility issues quickly.

 How to Generate Your MSINFO File (Windows)

1. PressWindows Key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type:msinfo32 and hit Enter.

3. The System Information window will open.

4. Go to the top menu and click File → Save.

5. Save the file as an.NFO file (do not use .txt).

   🗂️ Recommended name:msinfo_yourname.nfo

6. Attach the.NFO file when submitting your support request.

 Is My Data Safe?

Yes, this file contains only diagnostic system data. It does not include passwords, gameplay activity, or personal files. We use it strictly for debugging purposes under GDPR-compliant handling procedures.

Where Do I Submit It?

When reporting a bug or crash via our FBC: Firebreak Support, attach the MSINFO file in the "Upload File" section of the form.
